In the year 2014, the top five car sellers of the year include names such as Ford, Toyotas, Chevy, Honda, and Nissan. This line up was perfect until the end of the year 2013 and at the beginning of the 2014. However, the lineup has started to change after the financial year took an entry. And all credit goes to the Nissan Rogue. Nissan has successfully managed to draw their line much ahead of Honda in 2014 to become the fourth best-selling auto brand in January 2014. They have sold 81,472 units (10.41 percent increases compared to January 2013) to Honda's 80,808 units (that shows 3.96 percent decreases).
Rogue made the way for Nissan making a sole contribution of 4880 units. Other Nissan cars that make the total business are Frontier pickup adding an extra 2,307 units, the Juke an extra 1,081 units, the Altima an extra 1,051 units and the Maxima an additional 983 units. With the steady rise in the demand of the Rogue, Honda Civic and the Pilot have lost their sales foreground.
The luxury division of the Honda Cars has won over this session, as they tend to attract customers with Acura and Infiniti. Therefore, both the carmakers are giving a tough fight to each other from the beginning of the year.
